Mindfulness is simply knowing what is happening, when it's happening without judgement or preference. A practice of being fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and paying attention to experiences with kindness and compassion. Traditionally derived from buddhism practices, mindfulness is a way of life that helps you create a healthy, peaceful environment that will see you through everyday experiences.

"The best way to capture moments is to pay attention. This is how we cultivate mindfulness." .- Jon Kabat-Zinn |

Why practice mindfulness?
Who doesn't want to take on their day with love, enthusiasm and compassion? Mindfulness teaches us to accept our experiences for what they are and shows us how to take on difficulties with a new light. There is endless amounts of scientific research that shows us this practice not only improves our mental wellbeing, but has positive effects on our immune system, our relationships and overall physical health.
What does the practice involve?
Everyone's practice is a little different. Although traditionally practiced as formal meditation, here at Tranceform we believe in teaching you techniques that you can integrate into your everyday lives. Mindfulness shouldn't be another thing to do, but something you look forward to using throughout your day! Eventually it'll just become a way of being.
